Stellar Wind is the morning-line favorite for Kentucky Oaks 141 (Benoit Photos)
Stellar Wind (Curlin), comfortable winner in three of four starts including the Santa Anita Oaks (G1), was made the 7-2 morning line favorite for Friday's $1 million Kentucky Oaks (G1). The 1 1/8-mile race for three-year-old fillies, which will be run for the 141st time at Churchill Downs, attracted a full field of 14 with one also-eligible.

Trained by John Sadler, Stellar Wind captured the April 14 Santa Anita Oaks by 5 1/4 lengths. That effort was preceded by a 2 3/4-length score in the Santa Ysabel (G3), also at 1 1/16 miles.

The co-second choices in the Oaks field are Condo Commando (Tiz Wonderful) and I'm a Chatterbox (Munnings), who were both pegged at 4-1. Condo Commando has captured both starts at Aqueduct this season, the Gazelle (G2) and Busher, and enjoyed a prominent freshman campaign that included blowout wins in the Frizette (G1) and Demoiselle (G2).

I'm a Chatterbox is also undefeated this year, having swept Fair Grounds' trio of preps for the Kentucky Oaks. An eight-length score in the Silverbulletday were followed by 2 1/2-length wins in the Rachel Alexandra (G3) and Fair Grounds Oaks (G2).

Other major prep winners in the Oaks lineup are Ashland (G1) scorer Lovely Maria (Majesticperfection), Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) vixen Birdatthewire (Summer Bird), and Fantasy (G3) upsetter Include Betty (Include).

The lone also-eligible is Peace and War (War Front), upset winner of the Alcibiades (G1) at Keeneland in her juvenile finale but the trailer in the field of seven in the April 4 Ashland in her season debut.
