Grade 1-placed Jamaican Smoke (Latent Heat), third in an optional claimer two weeks ago, covered four furlongs in :48 3/5.

Nashua (G2) runner-up Financial Mogul (Street Boss) turned a mile in 1:43.

Unbeaten Damon Runyon hero Samraat (Noble Causeway), who has captured his three lifetime starts by a combined 25 3/4 lengths, traveled a mile in 1:41 4/5.

On Palm Meadows' firm turf, last-out Long Island H. (G3) victress Inimitable Romanee (Maria's Mon) breezed a half-mile in :53 1/5.

Jessamine (G3) runner-up Zinzay (Smart Strike) got three grassy furlongs in :40 4/5.

At Gulfstream Park, Sugar Swirl (G3) heroine Heart Stealer (Speightstown) breezed four furlongs in :49 1/5 over the fast main track.

Stakes vixen Left a Message (Mr. Greeley), most recently third in the Long Island, negotiated eight furlongs in 1:49 4/5 on Tampa Bay Downs' fast dirt.
