I'm getting an Invalid Property Value error when I try to print or view PP reports in PP Generator, what is wrong? Document Number: 10036 There is sometimes a problem during installation of PP Generator, where 2 fonts do not get correctly registered with Windows. After installing PP Generator try restarting your computer, if you still get the Invalid Property Value error when trying to print or view a report in PP Generator, you should restart your computer once more and follow this procedure: The 2 PP Generator fonts need to be copied out of the fonts folder to somewhere else (like the Windows folder as in the example that follows), then the two font files need to be deleted from the fonts folder, and then installed through the File menu in the fonts folder. If you follow the steps below the problem should be resolved: 1. Click on Start, then Programs, then Windows Explorer. 2. In the left pane, look for the Windows Folder and click once on the "+" next to it. 3. Now under the Windows Folder look for the Fonts folder and click once on it. 4. All of your fonts should appear in the right hand pane of explorer look for PP2A and PP2B. If you DO NOT see them you will need to download them. Search for "pp generator fonts". If you do see them proceed to step 5. 5. Hold down the -Ctrl- key on your keyboard while clicking once on PP2A and PP2B. This should highlight both of the PP2 fonts. 6. Having selected PP2A and PP2B click on Edit at the top of your Explorer Window, then click Copy. 7. Now, with your RIGHT mouse button click once on the Windows folder in the left-hand pane, which should pop up a menu. Click Paste on the pop-up menu. You have now copied the two fonts to the Windows folder. 8. Select the PP2A and PP2B in the right hand pane again by repeating step 5. 9. Click on the File menu at the top of your explorer window and then click Delete. You may be asked if you are sure you want to delete the fonts. Make sure you have only selected PP2A and PP2B, and click OK or Yes. 10. Click on the File Menu again and then click Install New Font... 11. You should see the two fonts (PP2A & PP2B) in the "list of fonts" box. If not make sure the C and Windows folders are open in this dialog. 12. If you see the two fonts in the list, click the "Select All" button and then OK. PP Generator should now work without this error, so close Windows Explorer and give it a try.
