Downloading and using track files for Neurax Pro. The Neurax Pro Datafiles require that you have the Neurax Pro Software installed. You can download this FREE Handicapping Software from this webpage. It is recommended that print these instructions. Downloading The track data for Neurax Pro must be saved to Neurax pro which is a folder on your computer's hard drive. From BRISnet's homepage (http://www.brisnet.com), click Selections, Programs, and PP's". Scroll down until you find software data files. You will find "Neurax Pro Data Files" ;Click this selection. You will see an alphabetized list of tracks and days. Select the track day that you want. You will be asked if you want to "Open from its current location" or to "Save to disk". Select "Save to disk." You will now see a window titled "Save as". Inside this window you will find a section called "Save in". To the right of "Save in" is a down arrow button. Click this button. You will se many devices, one of which is your hard drive (usually c:). Select the c: drive. You will now find an alphabetized listing of all the folders in your hard drive, one of which will be Neurax pro. Double click Neurax pro. Neurax pro will now be listed in the "Save in" window. Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner of the window. You are now ready to run Neurax Pro. Preparing the track data for Neurax Pro. Run Neurax Pro (Click START, go to PROGRAMS, go to Neurax Pro Software, click Neurax Pro. You will now see the Neurax Pro opening screen. In the top left-hand corner, you will see "Handicap". Click "Handicap". You will now see a window called "Handicap Races". This window contains three sections, one on the top, one in the middle, and one on the bottom. The middle window, called "Find NRP Files", is where you direct Neurax Pro to find your track data. On the far right hand corner of this window is a section called "Drive". To the immediate right of Drive is a down arrow button. Click this down arrow button. The middle section, called "Folders", will now display an alphabetized list of all the folders on your c: drive, one of which is Neurax Pro. Double Click Neurax Pro. To the left, called "NRP Files", is a listing of the tracks in your "Neurax Pro" folder. Click the track that you would like to handicap. Directly under "NRP Files" is an "Add File" button. Click "Add File". At the bottom of this window is "Handicap" and "Cancel". Click "Handicap" Good Luck at the Races!
