What is a hypothetical pedigree?

Document Number: 10127

A hypothetical, or unnamed, is a pedigree report run for a horse that has yet to be named. It is looked up by using the Dam's name and Foal's year of birth.

To run one of these, under the normal pedigree input screen, click on "Unnamed/Hypothetical Query?" Then fill out all the information requested. The Dam's Name and Foal's year of birht are in bold because these two fields are required in order to run the report.
