On Sat Nov 29 we pushed 3 winners in consecutive races with nice workouts. In the 5th MR. ROD with a nice Grade B work wired his field @ $15.60. In the 6th CHALULA ONE, a 1st time starter with a nice recent Grade B drill, ran down her field to score @ $16.20. And in the 7th TAXI FLEET with a "very good move...sitting on another big one" won paying $6.60, triggering a $393.20 HR pick 3. Other recent nice prices have included SILENT SOUL with a Grade B+ workout winning the 1st race on Wed Nov 26 @ $12.40 and ACTING LADY on Sun Nov 23 in the 6th with a nice Grade B work paying $23.20. On Sat Nov 22 in the 6th our only worker STORM BRAVE with a Grade B "very nice move...sitting on a win based on this drill" did just that cashing @ $22.20. JOHNNY EVES with several nice works including his last, a Grade B+ "definitely appears set for one of his better efforts", reached back for one of his good ones in the 7th beating a tough field paying $9.00. Early in the HP meet a NZ import in his first start in the country with a nice Grade B workout paid a sparkling $67.00 to win. In the past week at Aqueduct we have pushed two nice winners, TALE OF EKATI with a recent good Grade B work won the 8th on Sat Nov 29 paying $19.80 and WELL POSITIONED on Sat Nov 22 in the 6th with a good Grade B drill paying $65.00. *** *** HR had a strong Oak Tree at Santa Anita meet. On closing day 1st time starter DREAM OF KAYLEE won the 6th as a Fit and Ready lister with a Grade A- workout paying $7.20. On the 2 Breeders Cup days we had some nice winners. On Sat Oct 25, we pushed two Fit and Ready winners in the Pick 6 with MIDSHIPMAN wiring his field in the Juvenile with 2 Grade A- works @ $9.20. MIDNIGHT LUTE with 2 very special Grade A drills including one with the comment "excellent, excellent move, if he repeats this kind of drill in the afternoon, the Breeders Cup Sprint is all his" exploded to win the Sprint paying $7.40. ALBERTUS MAXIMUS won the Mile with a Grade B+ workout paying $14.60. On Fri Oct 24 BECRUX won the 9th with a Grade B work paying a nice $31.80. Among our many Horses to Watch that scored during the meet were some nice prices, including 2 on Sun Oct 19. WHEN WE MET won the 3rd paying $19.60 and FRANGIPANNI won the 7th @ $12.40. On Sun Oct 12 WESTERLY MAGIC won the 2nd paying $11.60. In the 5th TRAINSPOTTING won with a Grade B+ work prior to last race and paid $32.20. The 2nd horse was JOY DIVISION with a recent nice Grade B work @ 38-1. The exacta paid $613.60. *** *** Belmont's NY Showcase Day for NY Breds on Sat Oct 18 also showcased HR's NY clocker as Fit and Ready lister STORMY'S SMILE wired the field to win the 5th race easily @ 75-1 and pay $153.00 to win. The 2-3-4 finishers all had good HR works with the tri paying $297.40 and the super paying $797.80. Two Horses to Watch won, SKIM SCAM in the 1st paying $13.00 and TURN TO THE KING in the 4th paying $4.00. On Wed Oct 1 the last race was won by IN SESSION with a "nice" Grade B work paying $31.80. We capped off the 1st week at OSA on Sun Sep 28 with a monster win by TIZZY'S TUNE @ $43.60 in the 4th with a Grade B workout prior to her last race. Fit and Ready lister INTERNALLYFLAWLESS won the 5th @ $12.60, and finally 1st time starter MOBILIZED with a Grade B "nice drill...reaching out strongly at the end" exploded the tote in the final race paying $89.20. On Fri Sep 26 GO FLAGS BRO with a Grade B work won the 5th paying $19.00. Horses to Watch ANTIQUE AVENUE and HOT N' DUSTY won the 4th and 6th races paying $6.80 and $6.60 respectively. On opening day Wed Sep 24 our clocker contributed 2 Fit and Ready listers in STAR NICHOLAS and CAT BRULAY in the 7th and 9th paying $7.60 and $12.60 respectively. *** *** HR info was very strong throughout the Del Mar meet. Some double digit mutuel highlights from the final 2 weeks include the following: In the closing race on closing day, Fit and Ready lister INSPIRED STORM scored at $24.40. On Mon Sep 1 ALBERTUS MAXIMUS won the 7th with a good Grade B work @ $14.40. Horses to Watch MOHAKA and STARDOM BOUND won the 6th and 9th paying $12.00 and $13.00 respectively. On Sun Aug 31 the 3rd race was won by 1st time starter DAVE'S REVENGE with 2 nice Grade B drills paying a whopping $76.80. The DM Derby was won by Horse to Watch MADEO @ $23.60 with a trip note comment from his last race "could surprise in the 'Derby". On Fri Aug 29 in the 3rd, TIGER BLITZ had a recent Grade B work and 2 Grade B's prior to his last race and won paying $59.00. Other good HR workers ran 2-3-4 with the superfecta paying $1,762.10. On Wed Aug 27 in the 7th, TEN CHURROS was a twin HR push as a Horse to Watch with a Grade B+ and 2 Grade B workouts. He won and paid $9.80. On Sun Aug 24 in the last race PICTURAL won and paid $34.60 with just the kind of workout we love to see at HR. He was "just galloping along in the first part of the 5/8th drill, but picked it up nicely with a final 1/8 in a sharp 12.0". His final time of 102.0 could hardly be interpreted as a great work in the list of workouts for the day, but certainly was for our customers. On Sat Aug 23 we pushed 8 out of the 9 winners including the 1st race winner TIMES GONE BY with 1 Grade B and 2 Grade B+ works @ $22.20, BRIGHT MOON (GB) in the 2nd with a nice Grade B @ $15.00 and UNZIP ME in the 4th with a Grade B @ $12.40. On Fri Aug 22 the opening race was won by EXOTIC STORY with a recent Grade B and a Grade B+ prior to last race paying $20.60. On Thu Aug 21 PERFECT HOSTESS won the 3rd with several Grade B workouts paying $15.40 and SCHILL won the 6th as a Horse to Watch with a recent Grade B work @ $15.20. On to Santa Anita Oak Tree. *** *** We closed out the Saratoga meet with a huge day on Labor Day, Sep 1. PREMIUM GOLD won the 3rd race with 2 Grade B works prior to last race paying $25.60. Fit and Ready lister LEADER OF THE LITE won the 5th after an eventful trip @ $14.40. The 9th was a very close photo finish won by SALUTE THE COUNT with a good Grade B workout paying $20.80. 2nd was KINGSHIP, also with a good Grade B drill @ 58-1. The exacta paid $323.00 for $1. A rather awesome finish to a super final weekend at SAR. Bring on Belmont. *** ***Another bomber at Saratoga on Sun Aug 31. In the 6th race, 1st time starter DEVOTEE from the Albertrani barn with a good Grade B work from the gate wired the field and paid $44.20 to win. *** *** The HR clocker info at Saratoga has been on fire the final two weekends. On Fri Aug 29 we had 4 nice Grade B winners including 2 Fit and Ready listers, CLOSE ENCOUNTER in the 6th @ $9.40 and TIMBER RESERVE in the 8th @ $7.40. On Sat Aug 30 we built on the Fri results with 6 winners including Fit and Ready lister HELLO BROADWAY in the 8th @ $6.80 and FREEDOM BAY who had 3 Grade B works head and head with Friday's F&R winner Close Encounter for Kimmel. He paid a super $20.20. FIRST DEFENCE completed the $320.50 pick 3 in the 9th with a good Grade B @ $17.60. Finally, CURLIN lived up to his Grade A work and 1-5 odds by winning the 10th. Bring on the rest of the weekend and Belmont Park. On Travers Day we started off early in the 1st 3 races with AQUINO (URU) winning the 1st with a good Grade B workout @ $6.00, GONE ASTRAY winning the 2nd @ $11.20 with a Grade B prior to last race and a 1st time starter STORM PLAY winning the 3rd race with a good Grade B workout for the Jerkens barn paying $26.40. In the Travers, COLONEL JOHN ventured East from Del Mar where our CA clocker had several A- and B+ workouts on him including the last drill in which the comment was "they all appear to be in trouble in the Travers Stakes". He got bet from an 8-1 morning line and won by an inch after almost going down on the far turn paying $10.40. MAMBO IN SEATTLE with a Grade B+ from our tough grading NY clocker ("never really asking the colt for that much, looked impressive") missed by that inch with the exacta paying $43.25 for $1. *** *** HR information continues to produce at Del Mar. On Sun Aug 17 we had 3 nice workout winners with LA MANDONNA taking the 2nd with 2 decent Grade B drills @ $11.80. Just the kind of works we want to see on a moderate claiming filly. TIMIAS won the 3rd with 2 recent Grade B works paying $8.80. The Baffert firster MIDSHIPMAN won the 6th with 3 decent Grade B works paying a nice $25.60. Two Horses to Watch won, STUNNINGLY in the 4th @ $5.60 and IT'S TIME TO SHINE in the 9th @ $8.40. On Sat Aug 16 we pushed 5 workout winners including GO FLAGS BRO in the 5th with a good Grade B drill paying $24.80. DAKOTA PHONE won the 7th with 2 nice Grade B works paying $11.60 and MAGICAL FANTASY won the 8th with a Grade B prior to last race @ $87.00. The pick 3 paid $1593.70. Horse to Watch LUCKY PRIMO won the 5th on Fri @ $8.40 and Fit and Ready lister CONCETTINA won the 4th on Thu @ $6.00. Lots of longshot horses running well at SAR without winning, hopefully filling in exactas and trifectas. On Sat Aug 16 we had 3 Fit and Ready listers. ABUNDANTIA ran 2nd @ 13-1 in the 2nd, BIG MCCOOL ran 3rd in the 5th @ 32-1 and INTERPATATION ran 3rd in the 8th @ 35-1. On Fri Aug 15 in the 8th BACKSEAT RHYTHM with 2 Grade B works prior to last race won and paid $14.40. On Wed Aug 13 LOOSE LEAF won the 3rd race with a nice Grade B drill paying $22.00. MOTHER RUSSIA won the 7th with 2 good Grade B works for her debut @ $11.40. *** *** The HR clocker has been super at Del Mar with many winners including some very nice prices. On Sat Aug 9 the feature was won by SKY CAPE paying $27.60 with a Grade A- workout in which he "appears set for a smasher in the afternoon". The 2nd horse was TANGLED TANGO with a Grade B work. The exacta paid $93.30. Returnee FORTIFIED ran a fast closing 2nd in the 3rd race @ 25-1. On Fri Aug 8 ABSOLUTELY SMITTEN won the 3rd with a B+ workout prior to race with the comment "appears to adore the poly track". She stormed home to win @ $8.60 with PITHY GAL holding on for 2nd @ 21-1 with a B+ drill on poly at DM with the comment "she appears set for her best effort in the afternoon". The exacta paid $76.50. On Thurs Aug 7 we pushed the winners of the 4th race (ADHERE with a B+ paying $8.20), 5th (VELVETY SMOOTH with a B+ paying $10.40) and 6th (KALOOKAN YEAR with a B paying $8.80, pick 3 $159.10). The 2nd horse in the 6th was MS. WONDER WOMAN with a Grade B+ @ 23-1 with the exacta paying $60.00. On Sat Aug 2 in the 7th first time starter BELIEVE IN HOPE with a Grade B drill won and paid $28.40. On Fri Aug 1 in the 6th race Fit and Ready lister YASINISI (IRE) won and paid $14.60. Horses to Watch lister LUPITA'SLUCKYANGEL won the 8th paying $11.60. We have had several nice priced winners at Saratoga amongst all the rain. On Wed Aug 6 1st time starter KENSEI with a Grade B won and paid $17.00. Finishing 2nd was SPEED LIMIT with 2 Grade B works with the exacta paying $34.50. On Mon Aug 4 NINTH CLIENT with a Grade B prior to last race deadheated at huge odds paying $19.00 to win. On Sat Aug 2 in the 4th PORTE BONHEUR with a Grade B prior to last race won and paid $17.00. On Thu Jul 24, we pushed 4 winners including DOPPIO in the 7th with two Grade B drills @ $10.20 and GLORIA GOODBODY in the 8th with a good Grade B work @ $34.80, as the only horse to cause a carryover in the pick 6. On Mon Jul 21 1st time starter MCMURTRY won the 8th with good Grade B work with blinkers on and paid $10.00. On Sun Jul 20 we pushed two workout winners including MONZANTE who won the feature @ $8.00. We also had two Horses to Watch winners from our trip notes including TURTLE CREEK BABE in the 4th @ $16.80. On Sat Jul 19 we pushed 5 workout winners including WILD AND READY in the 1st with a nice Grade B paying $13.40, STOLEN HEART in the 4th with 2 Grade B's paying $18.80 and ZARDANA (BRZ) in the 9th with a Grade B prior to last race @ $89.60! On Thu May 29 at Belmont Park in the 6th race Fit and Ready lister BLUEGRASS GIRL rallied to get up and pay $12.20. *** *** On Memorial Day Mon May 26 at Hollywood Park we pushed the winners of 7 races, including Fit and Ready lister BLACK WOLF in the 5th @ $6.60, Horses to Watch lister TURKISH VICTORY in the 10th @ $8.00 and EL MARTILLO in the 7th with a Grade B+ workout @ $27.80. On Sun May 25 the 6th race exacta was completed by our Fit and Ready lister MANDATE PERFECTED @ $25.80 and our Horses to Watch lister SWEEPEMUP @ 8-1 with the exacta paying $94.20 for $1. BROTHER MAN won the 6th with a Grade B+ work @ $10.00. On Sat May 24 at Belmont Park bomber HALATION won the 5th with a Grade B workout paying a monstrous $146.00 to win. *** *** The week ending May 4 generated 4 more Horses to Watch winners at Hollywood Park including BYJOHN on Sat May 3 in the 1st @ $11.60 and LEMON CHIFFON on Fri May 2 in the 7th @ $5.60 with our other HTW completing the exacta. On Wed Apr 30 we had two more HTW winners, CHADLINGTON (IRE) in the 1st @ $6.80 and EXUMA in the 4th @ $12.60. Our clocker certainly wasn't left out of the party with winners MADEO and TOUGH TIZ'S SIS from our Fit and Ready list, as well as a number of other workout pushes including the Philadelphia shipper TISSY FIT in the 3rd race on Thur May 1 with a "very good drill...sitting on a big race" Grade B+ work. She paid $21.20 to win. *** *** We kicked off the Belmont meet with some nice winners on Wed Apr 30. CLOUD NINE won the 4th race with a nice "looked good all the way" Grade B workout prior to his last race and paid $18.60. In the 5th race DRIFT KING had two recent good Grade B works and won paying a whopping $66.00. The feature was won by DIVINE PARK with a Grade B work prior to his last race beating the 3-5 favorite and paying $7.90. The HR Horses to Watch list from our Trip Notes has been hot lately. On Wed Apr 30 at HP CHADLINGTON (IRE) stepped up in class and won the 1st race nicely at $6.80. EXUMA won the 4th race paying $12.60. On Sun Apr 27 HTW lister SENSITIVE SOUL won the 10th and paid $10.80. On Sat Apr 26 ALL MONEY NO LOVE won the 9th paying $15.00. On Thur Apr 24 the 4th race was won by WILD MCDREAMIE paying $10.00. *** *** Super info from our Daily Clocker’s Report on Sat Apr 19 at Santa Anita. As good as it gets for longshot winners. We had 2 Fit and Ready horses running, in the 7th and 8th races. They both had Grade A- workouts and won, STONESIDE (IRE) paying $31.80 and PETITE CHERIE (IRE) paying $30.00. With ARNONE winning the 6th race with a Grade B+ work @ $19.60, the pick 3 for races 6,7,8 paid $2,583.50. In the 1st race, a 1st time starter, FLASHOVER, with a Grade B+ work got up and paid $15.20 to win. *** *** The Horses to Watch list has been really hot. On Sun Mar 23 at Santa Anita we had two winners from the list including NICOLE'S IMAGE in the 4th race paying $14.80. On Sat Mar 22 HTW's won the 5th, 6th and 7th races. The winner of the 5th GREAT SIEGE (IRE) also had a recent Grade A- workout in which our clocker noted he "is ready for the winners circle". In the last race on Sat 1st time starter RUNNIN ONASUGARHI had a Grade B workout back at the end of Dec at HP in which our clocker noted “this one seems to be on the improve”. He got up and paid $15.00. In the 3rd DESERT CODE had a recent Grade B+ work with the comments: “final 1/8 in a sharp 11.4; a very good move as he appears to be sitting on a big one”. He pulled away in the stretch and paid $12.00. On Fri Mar 21 the 2nd baby race of the year was won by TURBO CALL with a Grade B workout in which it was noted “a nice drill for these two as they both appear to be the win-early types”. He paid $17.40 to win. On Sat Mar 22 at Aqueduct BLACKSMITH BOB won the 2nd with a Grade B drill paying $9.90 and AUGUST REX won the 10th with a Grade B paying $15.80. On Thurs Mar 20 KING RUSH won the 3rd with a Grade B paying $22.80. *** *** On Sun Mar 16 at Santa Anita in Race 2 1st time starter SUPERCARCHY had 2 Grade B works including a slow 5/8 mile in 102.3 in which he "picked it up nicely...traveling the final 3/8 in a sharp 36.2; a good move as this one definitely was doing better late than early". He flew late to get up @ $65.00 to win. Super day for HR at SA Sat Mar 15. We pushed all 3 of the big price winners in the $214K pick 6. In the 6th we had the $89.60 winner FOLLOW MY MOON with a Grade B workout in company that was a good work despite the slow final time of 102.1. That’s why players need our reports. Time means nothing in a work. It’s how the work was accomplished that matters. We also had two Horses to Watch winners from our Trip Notes, including POLONIUS who won the 8th @ $19.80. The last race was won by first time starter and Fit and Ready lister CREDIBILITY @ $20.80 with a Grade B+ “very sharp 5/8 on a tiring racetrack…appears to be sitting on a win” and a Grade A- “appears set for a huge one in the afternoon”. At Aqueduct on Sat our Fit and Ready lister FIRST COMMANDMENT won the 8th paying $29.80. On Fri Mar 14 at SA we pushed the Eduardo Inda winner in the 5th with 3 nice Grade B workouts paying $56.40. *** *** HR info continues to produce nice winners at Santa Anita. On Mon Mar 10 we pushed 5 of the 8 winners including 2 Fit and Ready listers and a Horses to Watch lister. One of the F&R horses was a 1st time starter MAMA KNOWS BEST in the 8th with a Grade A- work for a maiden claimer. The comments included "a very, very good 5/8 as MAMA appears to have lots of talent". She won by many lengths and paid $14.40. The 7th race feature was won by DOPPIO with a Grade B+ workout with the comment "appears to be sitting on another big one". He paid $13.80 to win. On Sun Mar 9 we had pushes on 2 nice prices. Comebacker RESPECTHEOFFICER had two recent Grade B workouts "a good 1/2; he looked as if he had more left to give" and "a very nice 1/2 as OFFICER appears to be on the improve". He paid $15.40 to win. FORMAL RUSH won the 10th in a weak field with a "nice" Grade B drill and paid $16.40. On Sat Mar 8 our Horses to Watch (HTW) lister for the day was ARIEGE who won the featured Santa Anita Oaks paying $11.40. The 6th race was won by CHARM N CHUCK, a Baffert 1st time starter with 7 good works including 2 Grade B+'s @ $13.40. The 7th was won by HEATHERSDADDYSBABY with 2 good works including a Grade B+ for this "improving sort...getting stronger the further she went". She ran down the leader at the wire @ $39.40. The 8th was won by ON THE VIRG who received the comment "figures to improve a ton soon" in the HR Trip Notes from his first race. He paid $12.80 to win. But the monster race was the 7th where we used our Performance Ratings (PR's) to select the winner JOHNNY EVES who had the highest last race PR and paid $24.00 to win.
