Oaklawn H. (G2) winner GRAND REWARD (Storm Cat) has been retired and will begin his stud career at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm near Lexington, Kentucky.
The four-year-old will stand for a fee of $12,500.

Grand Reward began his racing career in Europe, finishing second in the Mill
Reef S. (Eng-G2) and third in the Gimcrack S. (Eng-G2) at two. He also ran second in the
Tetrarch S. (Ire-G3) and third in the Ballygallon Stud S. (Ire-G3) at three.

Grand Reward won the nine-furlong Oaklawn by a neck earlier this season and
closed out his racing career with a sixth-place effort in the Jockey Club Gold
Cup S. (G1) on October 1 at Belmont Park. Overall, the dark bay colt won four of
24 starts and earned $552,026.

Bred and owned by Bob and Beverly Lewis, Grand Reward is out of champion
and 11-time Grade 1 winner Serena’s Song (Rahy). He is a full brother to
English Group 1 winner Sophisticat and a half-brother to multiple stakes winner
Serena’s Tune (Mr. Prospector).
