Multiple Grade 3 hero MIDWAY ROAD (Jade Hunter), runner-up in both the 2003
Preakness S. (G1) and 2004 Pimlico Special H. (G1), has been retired. Trained by
Neil Howard, the five-year-old will enter stud at owner William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Kentucky.

Out of the stakes-winning Fleet Road (Magesterial), Midway Road is a
half-brother to stakes winners Tuzia (Blushing John), Tanja (Allen’s Prospect)
and Shanghied (A.P. Indy).

The bay horse posted victories in the 2004 runnings of the
Fayette S. (G3) and Ben Ali S. (G3) and placed in three stakes events over three
seasons of racing. He earned $695,060 from a 17-7-2-2 line and
captured the last start of his career in the Tenacious H.

Midway Road also established a track record at Keeneland for 1 1/8 miles when
winning the Ben Ali in 1:46 3/5.

He will stand for $5,000 live foal in 2006.
