Race Summary |
---|
LADY OF VENICE (FR), forced out at the start by SORORITY WILDCAT, was taken in
hand to follow the leaders five wide, moved to the front when asked entering the
upper stretch and was under intermittent urging in the drive. MAY NIGHT, never
far back, raced near the inside, angled out five or six wide entering the
stretch, maneuvered inside the winner in the late going but wasn't good enough.
J'RAY settled near the inside within easy striking distance, swung out entering
the upper stretch to rally from between foes, bumped with SORORITY WILDCAT and
lacked a final response. SAOIRSE CAT moved to the front at once, showed the way
while racing four or five wide, held on well until the stretch and weakened.
SORORITY WILDCAT swerved out at the start, was sent up soon after to press
front-running SAOIRSE CAT four or five wide, battled forwardly to the lane, was
bumped by J'RAY when that one advanced to her inside about the three-sixteenths
pole, then weakened thereafter.
