BETTY GARR was well placed while between rivals in the second flight, rallied three wide in upper stretch and was gaining ground but was no threat to the winner. PERFECT RUBY was four wide on the backstretch stalking the early pace then rallied five wide in upper stretch and finished well. KATHY'S ROCKET saved ground on the turn then rallied two wide in mid stretch but failed to sustain the bid in late stretch. ABILENA was unhurried early then had a late rally while splitting horses in mid stretch. LUCKY WOMAN was in the second flight while three wide then made a four wide bid at the quarter pole and flattened out in the stretch. WILLING WOMAN dueled for the lead while two wide, was hard used and gave way in the stretch. TEXAS SARA raced two wide on the turn and was no factor. DANCING SQUALL raced four wide on the turn and failed to menace. MAMA'S TEMPER was outrun. GOLD BEACON showed brief speed while three wide and stopped.
