STAKES. 1 1/8 Mile Turf. Purse $200,000. Calder Derby (Grade 3). FOR THREE YEAR OLDS. By subscription of $200 each which shall accompany the nomination, $2,000 to pass the entry box and an additional $2,000 to start - with $200,000 guaranteed. The Owner of the winner to receive $120,000, $40,000 to second, $22,000 to third, $12,000 to fourth and $6,000 to fifth. Weight: 122 lbs. Non-winners of a sweepstakes of $75,000 at a mile or over allowed 3 lbs.; Non-winners of a sweepstakes of $50,000 at a mile or over, 5 lbs.; $35,000 or non-winners of two races other than Maiden, Claiming or Starter at a mile or over, 7 lbs. Graded placed horses at equal weights preferred. Graded stakes winners preferred. A trophy will be presented to the winning Owner. Closed Saturday, September 30, 2006 with (14) nominations.
