Race Summary |
---|
GOLDEN RAHY steadied in a bit tight just after the start, angled in and chased
inside, came out leaving the second turn and four wide into the stretch and
rallied gamely under left handed urging to get up late. WILD BUDDY dueled
outside a rival on the hill then stalked a bit off the rail, continued inside
leaving the backstretch, waited off heels leaving the second turn, got through
inside in the stretch, gained the advantage past the eighth pole and continued
gamely but was edged late. STAGE SHY pulled her way between horses then angled
in and stalked inside then a bit off the rail, moved up three deep leaving the
second turn and four wide into the stretch, gained the lead outside foes in
midstretch and was outfinished. COURTLY JAZZ dueled inside then inched away and
set the pace inside, came a bit off the rail into the stretch, fought back
between horses in the drive and also was outfinished. STAR PUPIL (GB) moved up
three deep in the stretch the first time then stalked outside a rival, came
three wide into the stretch, was in a bit tight between foes nearing midstretch
and weakened some in the final furlong. AT DAWN stalked the pace inside then
between horses, continued outside a rival on the backstretch and most of the
second turn, swung out into the stretch, angled back in some in upper stretch
and weakened. Rail on hill at 7 feet.
