WHOS CRYING NOW reserved racing along the inside, angled out for the drive,
rallied to catch SUPERVISOR inside the eighth pole, then was bumped twice in
deep stretch and just edged that rival to the wire. SUPERVISOR unhurried early,
rallied along the rail to gain the lead at the eighth pole, then drifted out
badly under left handed pressure bumping WHOS CRYING NOW twice in deep stretch
and was just edged to the wire. DAZZLING DR. CEVIN outrun early, came between
rivals in the stretch after his rider lost his whip on the far turn and closed
to be up for the show. PALLADIO allowed to settle, circled rivals four wide on
the far turn to gain the lead entering the stretch, then gave way in the final
eighth. SUMMER BOOK tracked the pace, was steadied in traffic on the far turn
and tired. B. B. BEST chased the pace, rallied to gain a slim lead midway of the
far turn, then faltered in the drive. BOB'S PROUD MOMENT rated off the pace,
raced three wide on the far turn and faded. CERVELO raced four wide and was
through after six furlongs. DREAM ON DREAM ON chased the pace to nearing the far
turn, stopped and was eased in the final eighth. HEAR NO EVIL sprinted to a
clear lead along the inside after stumbling at the start, made the pace into the
far turn, then had nothing left and was eased in the stretch run. There was a
stewards inquiry into the bumping incident in deep stretch. No action was taken.
