Race Summary

I'M THE TIGER , quickly to the front, set the pace along the inside, edged away when roused in upper stretch and maintained a comfortable advantage under a drive. TIGER HEART saved ground, moved closer into the lane, finished gamely and earned the place. CLEVER ELECTRICIAN , taken to rate, gained ground along the rail into the lane, angled out in mid stretch and finished with good energy. FRIENDLY ISLAND pressed the pace two wide and faded in the final furlong. SAAY MI NAME broke a step slow, steadied when in a bit tight near the five eighths pole, saved ground around the turn, eased out in upper stretch then lacked the needed kick in the final furlong. ELUSIVE JAZZ stalked the pace three to four wide and gave way in upper stretch. WHO'S THE COWBOY failed to keep pace early, eased out in the lane and closed belatedly between rivals. DALE'S PROSPECT , between rivals on the turn, went evenly. FOREST PARK was steadied along early, saved ground on the turn and into the lane but came up empty. WILD TALE , wide, was not a factor. GOLD CLUSTER , well wide, was outrun. GATORS N BEARS lost ground four to five wide and gave way. ABBONDANZA , wide, was not a factor. MINISTERS WILD CAT , lightly steadied at the break, raced wide into the turn and dropped back.
