Conditions: 1 1/8 MILES STAKES. Excelsior Breeders' Cup H. (Grade III). A HANDICAP FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. By subscription of $100 each, which should accompany the nomination; A supplemental nomination fee of $1,000 may be made on or before Friday, March 24. $500 to pass the entry box; $500 to start with $100,000 added and an additional $100,000 from the Breeders' Cup Fund for cup nominees only. All entrants will be required to pay entry and starting fees. The NYRA added money and all fees to be divided 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3%to fifth and 2% divided equally among the remaining finishers. Breeders' Cup Fund monies also correspondingly divided. Any Breeders' Cup Fund monies not awarded will revert back to the Fund. Trophy to the winning owner given by the Breeders' Cup Ltd. Race Summary

WEST VIRGINIA came away well and raced in hand early outside, advanced outside into the second turn, rallied three wide approaching the stretch, responded when roused in upper stretch, drew clear and remained clear under a steady drive. FUNNY CIDE broke running, set the pace while in hand, drew clear on the second turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch and was coming again late inside. COLITA was outrun early, advanced outside on the second turn, came wide for the drive and finished gamely outside. LIQUOR CABINET (IRE) raced with the pace along the inside while in hand, was eased back on the second turn, rallied outside into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. EVENING ATTIRE was outrun early, came wide nearing the stretch and offered a mild rally outside. WATCHMON raced close up along the inside, chased the pace and had no response when roused. YOUR BLUFFING raced in hand along the inside early, saved ground and came up empty when called on. GO NOW was outrun early, raced wide throughout and had no rally. INFINITE GLORY chased the pace while three wide, stopped after the opening three quarters and was eased in the stretch.
