Race Summary |
---|
READY TO PLEASE slight bobble start, good position inside early, closer second
turn, inherited the advantage when the leader bolted abruptly turning for home,
remained well clear at the end under steady handling. MISS NORMAN away sharply,
set the pace while off the inside, got out late in the turn to bother EX CAELIS,
bolted sharply with a quarter remaining to lose the advantage, ducked out again
in upper stretch, straightened, finished gamely to garner the place spot. A
CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF EX CAELIS AGAINST THE RUNNER UP FOR INTERFERENCE
LATE IN THE TURN WAS NOT ALLOWED. BROWNIE POINTS bumped at the start, settled
well off the pace, rallied, missed the place while off the inside. EX CAELIS
prompted the pace outside the runner up, bothered late second turn, had little
left for the drive. SWEET FERVOR bumped start, raced in traffic in the first
turn, settled off the pace, lacked a significant late response. QUIET KIM moved
closer on the outside onto the backstretch, had little left for the drive. SWEET
IDEA remained back throughout. LADY DANZA was never involved.
