Race Summary |
---|
EINSTEIN (BRZ) rated the early pace just off the rail, dropped back slightly
into the backstretch, recovered control nearing the half mile pole, moved clear
into the stretch, dueled the final sixteenth and held on gamely. GO DEPUTY rated
just off the pace in the four path, edged to nearly even terms four wide nearing
the quarter pole, reached the withers of the winner with a sixteenth to go,
couldn't get past that one but proved best of the rest. GUN SALUTE rated close
to the pace about the four path, assumed a brief lead into the backstretch,
stalked the pacesetter from the half mile pole, raced between rivals into the
stretch then remained a close factor to the eighth pole before weakening.
MUSTANFAR rated off the pace toward mid track, made a bid toward the quarter
pole and finished evenly. BROADWAY VIEW rated off the pace off the rail, angled
out through the final turn and finished evenly outside. HONOR IN WAR rated just
off the pace inside, lost momentum looking for room leaving the quarter pole and
leveled off through the stretch. REQUEST FOR PAROLE came slightly in making
contact with Continuously leaving the gate, rated just off the pace in the three
path then showed no response through the final turn. CONTINUOUSLY came out a
step slow and was bumped soon after the break, settled in off the rail,
continued saving ground and offered no rally.
