FIRST SAMURAI outrun for the lead, chased the pace from the outside, made a run five wide at KEYED ENTRY midway of the turn but couldn't get to that rival while clearly second best. EXPRESS NEWS unhurried early, passed tired rivals for the show. CATCOMINATCHA outrun early, saved ground around the turn, angled out for the drive and failed to threaten while being edged for the show. FABLED chased the leaders into the stretch and tired. ALMOST CERTAIN well placed while saving ground, faltered in the drive. BLAZING RATE broke awkwardly nearing unseating his rider at the start, raced three wide on the turn and faded.
