Race Summary |
---|
WILLOW O WISP quickly sprinted to the front, angled in and set the pace inside
and held on gamely under urging. ARTISTE ROYAL (IRE) three deep into the first
turn, stalked outside a rival, went between horses on the second turn and into
the stretch, could not catch the winner but gamely took the place. NEW EXPORT
(BRZ) saved ground in a good position stalking the pace, continued inside and
edged a rival for third. RED FORT (IRE) pulled his way between foes early,
stalked outside a rival, went up three deep on the second turn and into the
stretch and could not quite summon the necessary late kick. NARRATIVE (IRE)
pulled a bit early, tracked the winner inside then a bit off the rail on the
second turn, angled back in and waited some off heels into the stretch, came out
in deep stretch and lacked the needed rally. SENOR SWINGER chased outside a
rival then a bit off the rail, went between horses on the second turn and did
not rally. SARAFAN settled inside then came off the rail on the backstretch,
went outside a rival then three deep on the second turn and into the stretch and
lacked the needed late punch.
