Race Summary |
---|
WEIGELIA vied for the lead outside SWIFT REPLICA, angled to the inside on the
turn after clearing that rival, increased his advantage in the stretch, then was
fully extended to remain clear to the wire. MISTER FOTIS allowed to settle,
swung wide for the stretch run and finished full of run for the place. QUREALL
chased the pace around the turn, eased out for the stretch run and didn't do
enough late. SANTANA STRINGS reserved off the pace, closed ground late without
threatening. APALACHIAN THUNDER chased the pace into the stretch and tired. CIN
CIN failed to menace after bumping with SCRUBS and being checked in the early
going. SWIFT REPLICA vied for the lead along the rail, then was steadied soon
after entering the turn when caught in too close to the rail and gave way. BUILT
UP raced three wide and faltered. SCRUBS bumped with CIN CIN and steadied soon
after the start, then was not a factor. WIRE BOUND was outrun.
