Race Summary |
---|
PEACH FLAMBE chased the pace, moved to gain command at the top of the stretch
and drew off while being kept to pressure. STOLEN PRAYER showed speed along the
inside into the stretch, then was no match for the winner while continuing on
with good courage for the place. SECRET BROOK rated off the pace, saved ground
around the turn and passed tired rivals for the show. BEREBA unhurried after
being caught in tight on the backstretch, advanced three wide to reach
contention on the turn, then tired in the drive. REASON TO REJOICE chased the
pace off the rail to midway of the turn, then faltered. SWISH was outrun. A SEA
TRIPPI saved ground and faded. RUNNING LASS was through after a half mile.
