Conditions: 1 1/8M Turf. Knickerbocker H. (Grade 3). INNER TURF A HANDICAP FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. By subscription of $150 each, which should accompany the nomination. A Supplemental nomination fee of $2,500 may be made by Friday, October 21. All supplements are required to pay entry and starting fees. $750 to pass the entry box; $750 to start. The purse to be divided 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth and 2% divided equally among remaining finishers. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner. The New York Racing Association reserves the right to transfer this race to the Main Track. In the event that this race is taken off the turf, it may be subject to downgrading upon review by the Graded Stakes Committee. Closed Saturday, October 15, 2005 with 49 nominations.

Race Summary |
---|
ATLANDO (IRE) was outrun early, swung wide into the stretch, responded when set
down and was along in time with a rush from the outside. CERTIFIABLY CRAZY
quickly showed in front, set the pace along the inside, drew clear in the
stretch and dug in gamely while drifting out late. ROUSING VICTORY was rated
along outside, was three wide on both turns and finished well outside. WE ALL
LOVE ALEYNA raced with the pace from the outside while in hand, raced three wide
on both turns and lacked a rally. BATTLE CHANT raced close up along the inside,
saved ground throughout and had no rally. REQUEST FOR PAROLE was outrun early,
put in a four wide run on the second turn and had nothing left for the stretch
drive. COTTAGE (ARG) pressed the pace from the outside and tired in the stretch.
ECCLESIASTIC raced close up along the inside and had no response when roused.
LATINO MAGIC (IRE) was outrun early, came wide into the stretch and had no
rally. SIR WALTER RAHY had no response when roused.
