Race Summary |
---|
SIREN LURE off a bit slowly and squeezed at the start, moved up outside on the
backstretch and inside on the turn, split rivals in deep stretch and rallied
under urging to prove best. AREYOUTALKINTOME went up inside to duel for the
lead, put a head in front leaving the turn, fought back to a short lead in deep
stretch but could not hold off the winner. PRORUNNER dueled outside the
runner-up, fought back on the turn and in the stretch and held third. PURE AS
GOLD stalked the pace inside, came out into the stretch and continued willingly
but was edged for the show. CIGAR PAL allowed to settle off the rail, came out
into the stretch and was outfinished. OCEANUS (BRZ) unhurried off the inside on
the backstretch, angled in some on the turn and did not rally. SECRET RIDGE
(BRZ) broke inward, stalked between horses, came three deep into the stretch and
weakened. THUNDER TOUCH stalked outside then three deep on the backstretch and
turn, came four wide into the stretch and also weakened.
