Supplemental nominations of $750 each will be accepted by the usual time of entry with all other fees due as noted. Weights Three-Year-Olds 122 lbs. Older, 124 lbs. Non-winners of $60,000 at one mile or over in 2005, allowed 2 lbs.; $50,000 at one mile or over in 2005, 4 lbs.; $40,000 at one mile or over in 2005, 6 lbs. (Maiden and Claiming races not considered in estimating allowances). Preference to starters with highest career earnings in 2004-2005. Horses may be placed on the also eligible list. DREADNAUGHT , patiently rated, raced wide around the far turn, closed
determinedly and was up in time. MAJOR RHYTHM stalked the pace two wide, gained
the lead near the sixteenth pole and gave way grudgingly. PATROL sped to the
front, set the pace along the rail and weakened late. BUCKEYE WONDER lacked
speed and rallied. CLEAR FORECAST lacked speed, raced very wide and rallied. DR.
KASHNIKOW , no factor, raced nine wide in upper stretch. RUBI ECHO passed tired
rivals. TRIPLE X. was steadied in traffic entering the first turn. SPRUCE RUN
gave way. BATTLE CHANT , wide entering the stretch, gave way. PROUD MAN gave
way. WESTMORELAND ROAD raced well off the rail and faltered. SLY ONE , steadied
entering the first turn, faltered.
