CREVE COEUR stalked the early pace, was steadied between rivals in mid stretch, shifted out near the sixteenth marker and closed willingly. PREFERRED LENDER sprinted clear, set a rapid pace, opened up around the turn, raced two wide in upper stretch, was collared in the final sixteenth and weakened very late. POWER NUMBERS saved ground, advanced into the lane but lacked a solid finishing response. OUR BOLD ENSIGN , in mid pack, failed to respond. I DOT saved ground and came up empty.
