Race Summary |
---|
PLATA gained a clear lead leaving the seven furlong marker, set a rated pace
while off the rail, opened up when roused in upper stretch, raced on her left
lead and held sway under a drive. STICKY , unhurried early while off the rail,
angled out four wide nearing the lane, closed gamely and was getting to the
winner. SILMARIL settled off the rail, was rated back a bit near the half mile
marker, angled out, made a solid four wide run from the three eighths pole to
the quarter pole, continued willingly but lacked the sufficient late response.
TAKE A CHECK , unhurried early, gained ground four wide nearing the far turn,
chased the winner three wide into the lane but lacked a solid stretch kick.
GRANT'S MOON stalked the winner while off the rail, was urged along around the
final turn, angled in and gave way in upper stretch. BLIND CANYON angled in
early and failed to menace. KATIE'S LOVE stalked the pace while saving ground
and weakened entering the stretch. ONLY IN PHILLY hopped and was a bit rank at
the break, moved up between rivals mid way down the backstretch, chased the
winner into the far turn, faltered after six furlongs and was eased in the
drive.
