Conditions: 7 FURLONGS STAKES. New York Stallion Stakes Park Avenue Division S.. FOR FILLIES THREE YEARS OLD ELIGIBLE FOR THE NEW YORK STALLION STAKES. By subscription of $100 due on or before December 1, 2003, with the following eligibility payments: $100 due on or before November 1, 2004; $250 due on or before March 1, 2005; $350 due on or before June 1, 2005; $500 to pass the entry box, $750 to start. All monies to be divided 60% to first, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth and 2% divided equally among the remaining starters. 5% of purses won to be awarded to the stallion nominator. 122 lbs. Non-winners of a sweepstake since November 1 or three races other than maiden or claiming allowed 2 lbs.; two races other than maiden or claiming, 4 lbs.; a race other than maiden or claiming, 6 lbs. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner.

Race Summary |
---|
NO REASON raced in hand outside early, was three wide while between rivals on
the turn, rallied into the stretch, dug in gamely outside and prevailed under a
drive. LITTLE MISS ZIP set the pace along the inside while under constant
pressure and dug in gamely to the wire. ARTISTIC EXPRESS was hustled along
between rivals, rallied along the inside nearing the stretch and finished gamely
on the rail. MAGIC MOMENTUM was outrun early, raced three wide and finished well
outside. TAMBERINO raced with the pace while three wide, put in a three wide run
into the stretch and faded in the final furlong. GONE GOODBYE was outrun early,
raced inside and offered a mild rally on the rail. STAND BY THE PHONE bobbled at
the start, pressed the pace from the outside and tired in the stretch. APPETIZER
was outrun early, raced inside and had no response when roused. MOTOR CITY MAMA
chased the pace while four wide and tired after a half mile. VASA showed speed
along the inside and was finished early.
