Race Summary |
---|
PHILANTHROPIST quickly showed in front, dictated the pace along the inside, dug
in gamely when headed in the stretch and came again inside to get the job done.
WEST VIRGINIA raced with the pace while three wide, rallied to earn a short lead
in the stretch and dug in gamely to the wire. WE CAN SEEK (CHI) raced in hand
along the inside, saved ground, rallied on the rail turning for home, gained a
short lead between calls in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong.
EVENING ATTIRE broke slowly, was outrun early, advanced four wide approaching
the stretch and lacked a rally. TRAPPED AGAIN pressed the pace from the outside
and tired in the stretch.
