STAKES. 1 1/16 Mile Turf. Purse $100,000. River Cities S.. FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD FILLIES AND MARES. (Includes $100,000 from Slot Revenue). WEIGHTS: Three Year Olds 121 lbs.; Older 124 lbs. Non-winners of a sweepstakes at a mile or over on the turf in 2011 allowed 2 lbs.; non-winners of two races other than maiden or claiming at a mile or over on the turf in 2011 allowed 4 lbs.; non-winners of a race other than maiden, claiming, or starter on the turf in 2011 allowed 6 lbs. No nomination fee. $500 to pass the entry box and an additional $500 to start with $100,000 Guaranteed to be divided 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth, 3% to fifth with any unpaid monies reverting to the purse account. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. Preference to horses with the highest earnings in 2010-2011. Different owners will have equal draw according to preference. The second part of same owner entries will have no consideration over a single interest. Failure to draw into the race cancels all fees. The owner of the winner to receive a trophy. Nominations closed Saturday, August 27,2011 with 36 nominees. (If deemed inadvisable by management to run this race over the turf course, it will be run on the main track at 1 1/16 Miles).
