| STAKES. 1 1/16 Mile Dirt. Purse $250,000. San Diego H. (Grade 2). FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD. By subscription of $250 each, which shall accompany the nomination, or by supplementary nomination of $2,500 each by Sunday at noon July 26, $2,500 additional to start, with $250,000 Guaranteed, of which $150,000 to first, $50,000 to second, $30,000 to third, $15,000 to fourth and $5,000 to fifth. The San Diego Handicap has been selected as one of the Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" Challenge Races. The winner of the San Diego Handicap will be entitled to automatic entry into the 2009 running of the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile, subject to the payment of all pre-entry, entry and supplementary (if applicable) fees. To be eligible for the 2009 Breeders' Cup Championships to be held during the Oak Tree meeting at Santa AnitaPark on November 6-7, 2009, all horses must be pre-entered by noon (local time at the designated pre-entry locations) by October 26, 2009. All applicable fees shall accompany the pre-entry. Weights Sunday, July 26. A trophy will be presented to the owneer of the winner. Nominations Closed Thursday, July 23, 2009 with 21.
