Race Summary
SHARP LISA took the early lead and set the pace inside, inched away again on the second turn, drifted out some in the stretch but held on gamely under urging. ETERNAL MELODY (NZ) angled in and stalked the pace inside, came off the rail in the stretch and finished willingly to just miss. CISSY (ARG) chased inside then a bit off the rail, went outside a rival on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and just got the show. ARGENTINA (IRE) angled in and saved ground off the pace, came out leaving the second turn and three deep into the stretch and just lost third. AUBONNE (GER) stalked outside a rival then bid three deep leaving the backstretch, continued three wide on the second turn and into the stretch, then drifted in and weakened. THEATER R. N. close up stalking the winner off the rail early, bid between horses on the backstretch, continued between foes on the second turn, drifted in some in the stretch and also weakened.
