Race Summary
BOB AND JOHN three deep early, prompted the pace outside the runner-up, took a short lead passing the quarter pole and drew clear under a couple cracks of the whip and steady handling. HAWKINSVILLE had speed between horses then inched away briefly into the first turn, set a pressured pace inside, could not match the winner in the stretch but held second. SACRED LIGHT stalked outside a rival then off the rail, came out a bit wide into the stretch and bested the others. GENRE (GB) between foes early, chased inside, dropped back outside a rival nearing the second turn and weakened. WOODY BE QUICK pulled a bit early and was taken just off the inside, angled in leaving the backstretch, rode the rail on the second turn and lacked a further response.
