HOCKEY THE GENERAL reserved while inside winner, remained along the rail, came out some, split foes into the lane and narrowly missed while inside the winner. BECRUX (ITY) dictated the pace while just off the fence, stretch his lead in upper stretch but could not stave off top pair. GIANT SHIFT content to chase the leaders while outside foe, angled out for room nearing stretch, continued five wide and outside the winner and improved placing. BRECON BEACON (GB) prominent early from the inside, continued to save ground but lacked the needed response late. LUMBRE pressed the early issue outside pacesetter, continued bit off the rail and weakened.
