Race Summary |
---|
CHINESE DRAGON content to chase the pace while outside rival to final turn,
swung out leaving that bend, collared foes from outside and held under steady
right hand encouragement. HOCKEY THE GENERAL reserved while inside winner,
remained along the rail, came out some, split foes into the lane and narrowly
missed while inside the winner. BECRUX (ITY) dictated the pace while just off
the fence, stretch his lead in upper stretch but could not stave off top pair.
GIANT SHIFT content to chase the leaders while outside foe, angled out for room
nearing stretch, continued five wide and outside the winner and improved
placing. BRECON BEACON (GB) prominent early from the inside, continued to save
ground but lacked the needed response late. LUMBRE pressed the early issue
outside pacesetter, continued bit off the rail and weakened. BUZZARDS BAY tugged
his way along while furthest off the rail, continued three and four wide and
also weakened. IN EXCELSIS reserved while saving ground, continued inside but
lacked any late punch.
