SWEET LIPS unhurried early, angled four wide on the far turn and closed to prove second best while never a threat to the winner. DREAM OF SUMMER prompted the pace three wide, responded when HOUSE OF FORTUNE moved to the lead entering the far turn but couldn't stay with that rival racing into the stretch and tired. PITANGA rated off the pace, raced three wide on the far turn and faltered. SPECIAL REPORT was through after a half mile. AMERICAN MISS chased the pace to the far turn, then faded. FORMAL LADY was outrun while saving ground and eased in the final eighth. SNUG HARBOUR set the pace along the rail to the far turn, stopped and was pulled up in the stretch run.
