Race Summary |
---|
BORDONARO pressed the pace outside THOR'S ECHO, moved to take over from that
rival leaving the turn, then was fully extended to hold off TACIRRING. The
latter, tracked the pace off the rail, eased outside BORDONARO in the stretch
and was gaining on that rival at the finish. BUSHWACKER chased the pace three
wide around the turn, was outmoved into the stretch, then continued on with good
courage and wore down THOR'S ECHO to be up for the show. THOR'S ECHO showed
speed outside AREYOUTALKINTOME, moved to the inside on the turn when that rival
dropped back while continuing to contest the pace with BORDONARO into the
stretch, then weakened. NIGHTMARE AFFAIR allowed to settle, angled wide in the
stretch and closed ground late. MISTER FOTIS unhurried early, was forced out by
SMOKUME leaving the turn, then improved his position without threatening. VALID
VIDEO failed to menace. SANTANA STRINGS saved ground around the turn, eased out
and was attempting to split rivals when caught in tight at the eighth pole and
never threatened. AREYOUTALKINTOME showed speed along the rail into the turn and
tired. RED WARRIOR broke awkwardly, raced four wide on the turn and was not a
factor. HALOS SAILING SAIN was outrun after bumping soundly with ALL HAIL STORMY
at the start. ALL HAIL STORMY well placed after bumping hard with HALOS SAILING
SAIN at the start, faltered leaving the turn. SMOKUME was racing five wide when
he drifted out leaving the turn bothering MISTER FOTIS and faded.
