SILVER TREE reserved while saving ground, was forced to wait for room in behind DREAM ON DREAM ON on the far turn, slipped through inside that rival and rallied to reach the attending position but couldn't get to the winner while continuing on with good courage to prove second best. ICY ATLANTIC allowed to settle after breaking slowly, raced four wide on the far turn and closed to gain the show. STORMY ROMAN outrun early, raced three wide on the far turn, swung out widest of all for the stretch run and improved his position without threatening. DREAM ON DREAM ON bumped EASTERN SAND racing into the first turn, chased the pace along the inside into the stretch and tired. CAPTAIN SQUIRE set the pace along the rail into the stretch, then gave way. WE ALL LOVE ALEYNA stalked the pace three wide into the far turn and faltered. GIN AND SIN steadied in behind EASTERN SAND entering the first turn, raced in striking position into the far turn, then faded. TOUCHED BY MADNESS chased the pacesetter to nearing the stretch, then had nothing left for the drive. EASTERN SAND up close early, was taken up when he bumped with DREAM ON DREAM ON entering the first turn and failed to be a factor. NIGHT DASH saved ground and was through after a half mile. WILLOW O WISP steadied in tight quarters entering the first turn, tracked the pace into the far turn, then was dropping back when steadied again in traffic on the far turn and stopped.
