Race Summary |
---|
HIGH LIMIT stalked off the rail then between horses, bid three deep into the
second turn, took the lead outside ICE COLE into the stretch, found the rail in
the stretch and kicked clear under urging. TOP THIS AND THAT chased inside then
came off the rail on the second turn and into the stretch, was outside a rival
in midstretch and held second. GIACOMO bumped at the start, settled between
horses then a bit off the rail, moved up inside on the second turn, came out off
heels in midstretch and was edged for the place. GREELEY'S GALAXY came off the
rail early to stalk the pace, went up three deep on the backstretch, continued
outside on the second turn and lacked the needed late kick. HOCKEY THE GENERAL
off a bit slowly, chased three deep then four wide on the backstretch and second
turn and could not offer the necessary response. ICE COLE angled in and pressed
the pace inside, took a short lead nearing the second turn, battled inside the
winner leaving that turn and weakened in the stretch. DIXIE MEISTER chased
between horses or outside, angled in on the second turn and did not rally.
ALEXANDERSRUN bumped at the start, settled a bit off the rail then between
horses chasing the pace, dropped back into the second turn and weakened.
ACTXECUTIVE had speed between horses then dueled outside a rival, inched away
briefly on the backstretch, battled alongside a foe then between rivals into the
second turn and also weakened. CANTEEN pulled his way between foes early,
stalked outside or between foes, went four wide into the second turn, dropped
back three deep on that turn and had little left for the stretch. DISTORTED five
wide into the first turn, dropped back off the rail on the backstretch, angled
in on the second turn and was through early.
