Race Summary

BOB AND JOHN flashed good speed while well in hand, raced close up three wide, advanced outside on the second turn, responded to steady pressure in the stretch and drew clear late, driving. JAZIL was outrun early, raced inside, found room inside all the way, rallied into the stretch, angled out leaving the eighth pole and was coming fast outside at the finish. KEYED ENTRY was hustled away from the gate, set the pace while removed from the inner railing, responded when joined by the winner midway on the second turn, battled with that rival into deep stretch then weakened late and was caught for the place. SCANLON'S SONG was outrun early, put in a run while four wide on the second turn and had little left for the stretch drive. PLATINUM COUPLE broke slowly, was outrun early, came wide into the stretch, altered course to the inside in upper stretch and offered a mild rally on the rail. DEPUTY GLITTERS raced close up early, chased the pace from the outside and tired in the stretch. GREELEY'S LEGACY was hustled along outside, chased the pace while three wide and tired after the opening three quarters. NIAGARA CAUSEWAY was hard ridden inside but had no response and tired into the second turn. MARCO'S TALE was sent from the outside, chased the pace and was finished after a half mile.
