---|
KING COHL with the pace three and four wide, gained the lead in upper stretch,
drew off under a steady drive. ALPHABET PLUNGE forced the pace three and four
wide, had aim in the upper stretch but lacked a closing bid. BROTHER BANKS
pressed the leaders, three and four wide, gained a slim lead into the stretch
but was out finished. BINN WAITING prompted the pace three wide, lacked a late
response. HOLD ON TIGHT set the pace three wide along the backstretch, dropped
to the rail around the turn then gave way in the drive. DANDY TOPPER stalked the
pace five wide, failed to respond. COME TO TERMS never threatened three wide.
DR. BARCH showed little inside. SEEKING THE CASH in tight just after the start,
trailed throughout.
