Zensational retired Top sprinter ZENSATIONAL (Unbridled's Song), a convincing winner of the Triple Bend H. (G1), Bing Crosby H. (G1) and Pat O' Brien S. (G1) in succession this summer, has been retired to Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington, Kentucky. The three-year-old ridgling earned $669,300 from a 8-5-1-0 career line. "Having already won three Grade 1 races, we feel that he will be more valuable at stud," owner Ahmed Zayat said. "We are committing a majority of our best mares to Zensational, including the dam of multiple Grade 1 winner and Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up Pioneerof the Nile (Empire Maker), and we look forward to his chances as a stallion." Zensational will stand for will stand for $25,000 fee, and a 10% discount will be applied if the stud fee is paid on or before November 15, 2010. "He's incredible; he's a beast," trainer Bob Baffert said. "He's one of the three best horses I've ever trained. He's one of the few you get in a lifetime. He is as fast, as powerful and as good-looking as any horse you will ever see." The gray concluded his racing career with a fifth in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1), but Zensational is still the leading contender for the 2010 Eclipse Award for champion sprinter. "(Zensational) is a rare and special racehorse with the kind of brilliance that defines great sires," Hill 'n' Dale's John Sikura said.
