Adele Dilschneider and Claiborne Farm's multiple Grade 1 king BLAME (Arch), a
leading contender for the November 6 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) at Churchill
Downs, worked a Polytrack half-mile in :47 3/5 under Casey Chavez on Sunday
morning at Keeneland.Working by himself shortly before 8 a.m. (EDT), Blame posted fractions of :11
4/5, :24 1/5 and :35 4/5 while galloping out five furlongs in 1:00 1/5.
It was Blame's first work since finishing second to Haynesfield
(Speightstown) in the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) at Belmont Park on October 2
that snapped a five-race win streak.
"That was good and he looked great doing it. I am pleased," trainer Al Stall
Jr. said about the four-year-old. "He will work in company next Sunday, ship to
Churchill on Wednesday the 27th and have a blowout there with (jockey) Garrett
(Gomez) on the 31st."

Also going to Churchill Downs on October 27 will be Columbine Stable's J.
B.'S THUNDER (Thunder Gulch), victor of the Breeders' Futurity (G1) at Keeneland
on October 9.
"We will take him over to get him on the dirt for training," Stall said of J.
B.'s Thunder, who broke his maiden on the grass at Saratoga before capturing the
Breeders' Futurity over Keeneland's Polytrack last out.
Though the bay colt has earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1),
Stall has also mentioned the Delta Jackpot (G3) at Delta Downs on November 20 as
a possibility for J. B.'s Thunder.
