Player Profile
Ron Ruchtie  OH | $197,000 Bay Meadows Pick 6 | Occupation:
| Letter Carrier/pro Gambler | Other Accomplishments: | 1)I had the only ticket on the Pick 6 at Bay Meadows, while using the Ultimate PP's on Nov.5, 1999 for over $197,000 as previously published in the Handicapping Times. Profiled in the April 2001 issue of the Handicapping Times.
2)I also wrote about hitting the only ticket on the pic/place 9 at Santa Anita for $34,695 on Feb. 11, 2001, also using the Ultimate PP's and Summary.
3) I also credit Rich Nilsen for Express mailing the Ultimate PP's and Summary to the Suncoast Hotel in March of 2001 to me. I was finally able to "cash" in a Handicapping Tournament, finishing in the top 15.
4)This past May 4, 2002, Kentucky Derby Day, at Churchill Downs, I again used the Ultimate PP's and Summary to hit the Trifecta in the Derby for $9,186 and the Pick 4 for $4073. Unfortunately, I did not play the Pick 6 that day, as no one hit, and I could have taken the whole pool of over 350K. I did have all of the Pick 3's in the Pick 6 sequence. | Started Playing:
| 1988 | Handicapping Mentor(s):
| I was self-taught with the help of reading Beyer, Quinn, Quirin, Brohamer, Davidowitz and others with outstanding credentials. | Handicapping Style:
| I give an equal amount of weight towards a trainer's strengths, along with the current form of cheaper horses and the pace and speed of all those that have raced. I also use sire info for many maiden races and those trying Turf for the first time. |
