I rely on the Back Speed column, especially at the premier meets, e.g. Gulfstream, Keeneland, etc. I also look for improving [speed] numbers. This is something that will dictate a lot of plays for me. I also incorporate the key race factor into my handicapping. "The BRIS numbers are a big factor in my decision making. I can get 'live' value plays using the BRIS numbers. I've been a customer for over 15 years and have not found better numbers anywhere!
