ABOUT CUSTOM CARD
If you haven't
tried CUSTOM CARD, you don't know what you've
been missing. Only Brisnet.com's Custom Card lets
you pick and choose which races you wish to download
and print. Want all the claiming route races today?
Or, how about all the turf races at Tampa Bay and
Santa Anita with a field size of 8 or more? No
problem!
You request your
criteria. Custom Card scans the country and seconds
later, returns with just the races you requested.
Nothing more, nothing less. Play to your strengths
with Custom Card
Instead of getting
the full card at a given track, with Custom Card you
can scan, let's say, three tracks for the type of
races you prefer. Exclude the maiden claimers and
state-bred events, and get the PPs on the races you
really want to wager on. It's easy with Custom Card.
6
EASY STEPS TO USING CUSTOM CARD
On each of the Past
Performances download pages at Brisnet.com,
regardless of product type, you will see a
button/graphic that is a link to the Custom Card
interface.
-
On the Custom
Card interface simply choose the race date,
followed by the tracks available for that
day of racing.
-
Next, select
the parameters for the criteria you wish to
search for, such as Distance and Surface,
if you were looking for just Turf Routes.
If a certain criteria is not relevant, simply
skip it.
-
Hit the
"Search for Races" button.
-
The resulting
page will provide a list of the races that meet
your criteria. Here you have the option of only
adding the races you really want*. For each race
you want, check the box next to the race or, if
you want them all, choose "Select All Races
from Search."
-
If satisfied
with the selected races, choose "Create
Card."
-
You'll then be
taken to a page with the link to the file you
created. That's it!
TAKE ADVANTAGE
Raise your game to
the next level by using Custom Card in conjunction
with the best past performances in the business.
Take advantage of our January special by visiting
www.brisnet.com
this month for your 3 FREE unlimited race dates,
up to a $30 value.
* Regular Custom
Card PP pricing involves each track in the download
process. For example, four races from Santa Anita
and three races from Aqueduct would count as two
tracks for billing purposes. The January 2006
special is three free race dates of unlimited past
performances via Custom Card, a $30 value.

ALL-Ways just got
easier and more efficient to use! Your handicapping
decisions and your wagering decisions are about to
become easier, faster and more effective. ALL-Ways
Version 12 is a powerful tool aimed directly at the
ultimate end-game of simply making money at the
track.
For Efficient and Effective Handicapping
Spot Play/Final
Process Handicapping Report: This new single
page report, available in both printed and on-screen
formats, is designed to help you through a simple,
logical process to make your final handicapping
selections and your final wagering decisions. The
top of the report identifies the horses that warrant
your further consideration. Then, as you move down
the report, you upgrade or downgrade horses based on
key groups of information showing all horses in
side-by-side comparisons.
The Starting
Point: This group shows you the selections made
by the ALL-Ways Handicapping Profile(s) and the
designations made by ALL-Ways of Contenders,
Dangerous Non-Contenders and Key Horse Candidates.
BRIS Prime Power and ALL-Ways Comprehensive Ratings
are also shown in Gap format.
Human Factors:
Shows jockey and trainer statistics, including
trainer angles pertinent to the race, and statistics
regarding how the jockey and trainer perform as a
team.
Suitability:
Shows horse statistics regarding suitability to the
distance and surface as well as 'horses for courses'
information. Includes an easy way to spot horses
going back to a race type they either like or don't
like.
Form: Shows
each horse's "recency", including how it has done in
the past after a similar layoff. It includes a
workout rating and the powerful ALL-Ways
seconds-per-furlong workout figure. It also shows
how each horse has performed in recent races and
includes the BRIS Weighted Total Rating (early pace
plus speed) and the new BRIS Weighted Late Rating
(final fraction plus speed), the latter being
particularly strong for handicapping turf races.
Class and Speed:
These two groups show pertinent speed and class
ratings in both value and Gap formats as well as
each horse's demonstrated ability to run to today's
Pars and each horse's best and most recent Top 10
Speed performance.
Pace: Shows
key pace and compound pace ratings in Gap format, an
extremely powerful method for identifying how far
ahead/back a horse will be at each Point-of-Call and
whether the leaders can hang on down the stretch or
are likely to be passed by the closers. This section
is indispensable in determining the horses that will
likely figure in Exactas, Trifectas and Superfectas.
This section also points out how the horses have
done in past races having a similar pace scenario as
that expected in today's race.
Situational
Factors: Shows equipment changes, Lasix status,
1st or 2nd race after a claim, weight changes
(including how each horse has done carrying similar
weight in past races) and powerful situational
factors including how the horse performed in its
last race if it ran into trouble, had a wide trip,
made a double move ("V" Pattern) or ran against a
fast pace. Negative situations are also shown
including a "Negative Drop", a 4-Up designation and
pointing out persistent trouble in the horse's
comment lines.
Hall Factors:
ALL-Ways handicappers know that the Hall Pace and
Speed figures are particularly strong when
evaluating horses that are changing distance or
surface. This section focuses on this and is a great
source of high priced top 4 finishers.
Spot Play/Final
Process Factor Analysis: This comprehensive,
"forward looking" analysis evaluates every Spot
Play/Final Process handicapping factor's
effectiveness in projecting the top 4 finishers in
each race you handicapped. This analysis can be run
for any combination of tracks and any combination of
race types.
New Wager Module for Efficient and Effective
Wagering
A Built-In
"Electronic Teller" Module: This new module is
where you can calculate and create your wagers just
like you do at the track using an automated teller
machine. You simply use your mouse button. There is
no manual data entry. Even results are entered
automatically, including payoffs and refunds. You
can also print out the wagers to use at the track
for reference when making your real wagers.
Wager Analyses:
The Wager Accounting Report maintains financial
records of your wagers, including the detail you may
want for tax purposes. The comprehensive Wager Type
Reports show how well your wagers have worked based
on the type (Win, Exacta, Pick 4, etc.) and
structure (straight, boxed, Key Horse) of your
wagers. These analyses can be run for any
combination of tracks and any combination of race
types.
