- How to contact Dennis Allen, the programmer of Plus V Enhanced
- The latest version of Plus V Enhanced that we are sending out is v1.3.01. It
uses the "PLUS5" datafile, which can also generate a Ultimate PP in
PP Generator. The "PLUS5" datafile can also be used in Capsheet.
- Q: After installing the program when I try to run Plus 5, I get
an error message, "Unable to find configuration."
A: This is caused by the PREFERNC.USR not being copied to the
Plus5 directory. To fix this, simply copy the above file
from the Plus V disk to the directory.
- Q: When I type Plus5 to get into the program, it won't let me
load any races.
A: Be sure to execute the program using "P5MAIN.exe". From here
you can import a card to be translated.
- Q: When parsing a zipped file an error 53, "File not Found"
occurs.
A: This is usually caused by PKUNZIP not being in the Plus 5
directory.
- Q: When parsing a card, an error 186 occurs.
A: This error is from having the wrong username stamp in the
PREFERNC.USR file. Bloodstock can stamp a new one and,
send you a new disk or email it.
