IN THE GOLD (Golden Missile) was withdrawn from the Breeders’
Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) after developing a fever Wednesday
afternoon, trainer Nick Zito said.

The chestnut filly was listed at 10-1 on the morning line and
was slated to break from Post 3 in the 1 1/16-mile Juvenile
Fillies.

In the Gold finished third, beaten just a head, in the
Alcibiades S. (G2) at Keeneland in her last start. She broke her
maiden going one mile in the mud at Belmont Park in her prior
start after finishing a close second in her debut at Saratoga.
