Miss Loren tops Las Palmas
Multiple Group 1 winner MISS LOREN (Arg) (Numerous) will go
for only her second U.S. win on Sunday when she takes on seven
rivals in the $150,000 Las Palmas H. (G2) at Santa Anita. The
Luis Seglin trainee posted a 3 1/4-length victory in the Clement
L. Hirsch H. (G2), and has placed in three other stakes this
year, including the Ruffian H. (G1) two back.
Among those Miss Loren will face are THEATER R. N. (Theatrical
[Ire]), who has captured three of four lifetime starts, and Grade
2 heroine HOH BUZZARD (Ire) (Alhaarth), who finished a good sixth
while making her 2004 debut in the Yellow Ribbon S. (G1) last
out.
