New York signal returns to MidAtlantic
The MidAtlantic Cooperative announced Tuesday that it had
reached an agreement with NYRA that will allow wagering on the
opening day program from Aqueduct on Wednesday at all of its
tracks and off-track facilities. The signal was discontinued on
September 15 after the first week of the Belmont meet.
Terms of the agreement were not released, but the new contract
will permit telephone and Internet account wagering on NYRA
tracks in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The tracks in the MidAtlantic Cooperative are Laurel Park, Pimlico,
Philadelphia Park, Penn National, Meadowlands, Monmouth Park, Charles Town,
Delaware Park, Colonial Downs, Atlantic City Racecourse, Suffolk Downs,
Rockingham Park, Pocono Downs, The Meadows, Dover Downs, Harrington Raceway,
Freehold, Rosecroft and Ocean Downs.
