Tuesday’s $100,000 Nashua S. (G3) will feature seven
two-year-olds in the Election Day co-feature at Aqueduct.
ROCKPORT HARBOR (Unbridled’s Song), who has already been compared
to Smarty Jones due to his undefeated record at Philadelphia Park
for trainer John Servis, rates our top choice.

Rockport Harbor broke his maiden in front-running fashion by a
widening 8 3/4 lengths in his debut then returned to defeat
winners in the same fashion by 7 1/2 lengths, earning a 98 BRIS
Speed rating. The gray colt stretches out in distance under a
returning Stewart Elliott and adds first-time Lasix for his
stakes debut. Rockport Harbor appears to have a very bright
future, but could be overbet, so demand square odds.

DEFER (Danzig) was very impressive when unveiled in early
October at Belmont Park. The Shug McGaughey-trained colt dueled
for the early lead, opened up a clear margin in midstretch, then
held sway in the seven-furlong test, defeating a good group that
included next-out winner Apprentice (A.P. Indy) and the highly
regarded Sir Halory (Unbridled). Defer is tactically drawn on the
outside and is a serious win threat.

ALL TRUMPS (Grand Slam) was heavily touted for his debut at
Saratoga, but finished a troubled fifth as the 2-1 favorite. He
returned to break his maiden in fine stalk-and-pounce fashion
then ran deceptively well in the Champagne S. (G1) where he
pressed the issue until upper stretch before fading. All Trumps
could rebound here with an improved performance at attractive
odds.

BETTER THAN BONDS (Sweetsouthernsaint) broke his maiden at
large odds and then finished a game second in the 6 1/2-furlong
Cowdin S. in his last start. He has the look of a rapidly
improving sort who should be respected. FAVALORA (Untuttable)
exits an open-length victory in the muddy six-furlong Comet S. at
the Meadowlands and figures to be an early pace player. This
distance is a concern, however.

DOCTOR VOODOO (Petionville) finished a closing third to
Favalora in the Comet and has already won going a mile. He is
worth a second look at a price. REVERBERATE (Thunder Gulch) broke
his maiden on the front end in his last start but faces a class
test here.
