Player’s Pool hits Hollywood Pick 6
The successful trio of handicappers responsible for the
Breeders’ Cup Ultra Pick Six winning tickets in the new
AmericaTab Player’s Pool were victorious again Sunday in the
Hollywood Park $1 million guaranteed Pick 6. BrisBet.com and TsnBet.com customers could
contribute a minimum of $10 into the pool and would earn that
percentage of any winnings. The Player’s Pool climbed to $61,550
by the time the pool closed at 3:30 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, giving
the panel enough time to make their selections. The panel hit the
$97,708 Pick 6 as well as 28 five of six consolation tickets
paying $1,225.60 each, before taxes.
The expert panel consisted of Brad Anderson, with Pick 6 wins
this year of $1,312,808, $170,000, $50,000 and $33,000; Rich
Nilsen, a four-time NTRA qualifier and marketing director for
Brisnet.com; and Ron Ruchtie, who has cashed over 75 previous
Pick 6 tickets. The three relied heavily on Brisnet.com
handicapping products to make their Pick 6 selections.
The excitement began when the team got through the first leg
with SKYWALKER RED (Skywalker), sent off at 7-2, which preceded
the 6TH race with IMA’GAMBLER (Slewdledo) at 6-1; the Matriarch S.
(G1) with INTERCONINENTAL (GB) (Danehill), who was sent off at 9-2;
the 8TH race with CHINKAPIN (Personal Flag), the 2-1 favorite;
the Hollywood Derby (G1) with 16-1 shot GOOD REWARD (Storm Cat);
and the 10th and final race, in which the ticket had seven live
selections, with DIVINE MARK (Benchmark), who left the gate at 4-1.
